SHIELD616 was formed with the peace officer on patrol in mind.  We have since seen the need to help protect all first responders. The goal of SHIELD616 is two-fold.

First, we want to equip every first responder with necessary, advanced active shooter / crowd control gear.  Second, we want to provide a support group for that first responder who will pray for the first responder and his or her family on a daily basis and shower the first responder with support and encouragement throughout the year.

SHIELD616 was mindful of limited department budgets. Not only will all of the gear be donated; it will replaced every five years at no cost to any first responder or department.

Have you ever wondered how you could support your local first responders?  Have you ever desired to form personal relationships with your local first responders? Imagined a community where local citizens had the opportunity to not only provide much needed equipment to individual first responders but also had the opportunity to form a personal relationship with them?

SHIELD616 is unique and was formed with the vision of having local individuals, churches, bible study groups, businesses, foundations, “invest in a first responder” not only financially but also personally.
